Calculate tank volume
quickly and clearly.
Select the tank geometry and enter the internal dimensions. See total capacity, liquid volume and the level table instantly.

How should dimensions be entered?
Use internal dimensions. Liquid level is measured from the lowest point of the tank. The conical-bottom model consists of a full downward cone and the cylindrical shell above it; do not add the cone to the shell-height entry. The horizontal model assumes a cylinder with flat ends.
Results are geometric volumes. Formed or truncated heads, internal coils, agitators and other internals, thermal expansion, tank inclination and manufacturing tolerances are excluded. This tool does not replace calibration or a certified tank chart.
Core equations used
Cylinder: V = πD²h/4. Rectangular vessel: V = LWh. Full cone: V = πR²H/3. Partial filling in a cone: V = πR²h³/(3H²). Horizontal cylinder: circular-segment area × tank length.
